Cricket – South Africa vs India

13 Feb, 10pm (AEDT)
India $1.80, South Africa $2
With two matches left in this series, South Africa can still tie the series. India leads 3-1 but stumbled in the 4th ODI. In a reduced match, South Africa chased the target of 202 with a few overs remaining. So they’ll have renewed confidence in Port Elizabeth.

Top Batsman: South Africa

For South Africa, AB de Villers is back in the lineup and helps South Africa build an innings in the middle order. He averages 53 in One Day cricket and will be looking for a big score to lead his side to victory. He scored 26 off just 18 balls in the 4th ODI as they looked for quick runs. So he’s capable of a bigger score in 50 overs this time around.
Best bet: AB de Villers $3.70

Top Batsman: India

After scoring 160 not out in the 3rd ODI, Kohli reached 75 in the 4th ODI. He was outscored by Dhawan who scored a quick-fire century. But overall in this series, Kohli has scored 393 runs at a huge average of 196.50. So it’s hard to back against that kind of form.
Best bet: V. Kohli (TBA)

South Africa will be confident of victory in the 5th ODI after dominating India in the last match. They took care of Indian’s spinners and that will be the key in this matchup. South Africa will likely build a big score batting first or they’ll be able to chase down any target. They also hold a 4-0 ODI record against India at this venue. South Africa are also 11-6 at Port Elizabeth in their last 17 ODI matches.
Best bet: South Africa WIN ($2)

Cricket – New Zealand vs England

13 Feb, 5pm (AEDT)
England $1.80, New Zealand $2
Australia is into the T20I final so England or New Zealand will be looking to earn their first victory of the series in Wellington. England is coming off two losses against Australia and struggled with both batting and bowling. Morgan is likely out injured again so Jos Buttler will captain the side. New Zealand also lost against Australia at the SCG in their first match and also struggled with the bat. But they should regain form at home and they’re 3-0 in Wellington Twenty20 matches. But this should be an even contest with both sides in competition for the last final spot.

Top Batsman: New Zealand

There isn’t much batting form to look for New Zealand since they were also bowled out for 117 in the first match of this series. So the openers are usually the best bet in Twenty20. Between Guptill and Munro, Guptill is a bit more reliable at the moment. He has scored over 26 in 8 of his last 10 innings. He also scored a century in his last innings at this venue. He averages 32 in T20Is and has scored 12 half-centuries in 69 innings.

Best bet: M. Guptill $4

Top Batsman: England

England’s batsman has been poor in this series so there is value. Malan is the top scorer with 60 runs in 2 matches and has scored the only half-century for his side. So he’s the most reliable bet choice.

Best bet: D. Malan $5

New Zealand are the underdog at home which is interesting. They’re 5-3 in Wellington T20I matches and comfortably beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in 2018. England have looked poor in this series, especially the top order batting. So New Zealand’s bowling lineup can take advantage with the likes of Boult. Guptill and Munro can score quickly so that will be the major difference in the batting lineups. Take NZ.
Best bet: New Zealand WIN ($2)
