Horse Racing Tips at Flemington

Read through our best bets at Flemington this Saturday.

Best WIN Bet: Qewy (Race 5, No. 11)

WIN: $3.60 at William Hill or PricePump at $4.00
Qewy is fresh off the Bendigo Cup victory over 2400m and starts as favourite in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes. He’s raced well previously 2nd up and finished 4th in the Melbourne Cup last year. It was his only race at the track and he should enjoy the shorter trip at 2600m. He’s the best bet to win this race on Saturday.

Best PLACE Bet: Vengeur Masque (Race 5, No. 9)

PLACE: $2.60 at William Hill
Behind Qewy we have Vengeur Masque. He finished a close second behind Cismontane in the Lexus last start and has been riding well lately. He also won the Geelong Cup in a strong finish a few weeks back. He has finished second in 2 of 4 starts at Flemington so he’s a value bet for the place.

Best WIN Bet: Falika (Race 6, No. 2)

WIN: $4.80 at William Hill or PricePump at $5.50
Falika is the favourite for the Matriarch Stakes and will be hard to catch. She’s won three straight races and won last start at Flemington. She enjoys the 2000m trip with 2 wins from 4 starts and no finishes outside the top three. Kerrin McEvoy is aboard and the barrier draw (2) helps. Back her to win.

Best WIN Bet: In Her Time (Race 7, No. 12)

WIN: $8.00 at William Hill or PricePump at $9.00
There’s a bit of value in the Darley Classic and we have In Her Time getting the win. She’s been in impressive form this prep with two wins and a second. Last start, In Her Time almost beat Hey Doc in the Manikato Stakes. In her previous runs, she’s won the Sydney Stakes and Premiere, both at Randwick. She has a dominant record at this distance with 4 wins from 8 starts and 2 seconds. She’s also 2 kgs lighter than Redzel and her form is hard to back against. So for a value win bet, back In Her Time this Saturday.

Best WIN Bet: Gailo Chop (Race 8, No. 3)

WIN: $7.50 at William Hill or PricePump at $8.50
Gailo Chop won this race two years ago and his form coming into the 2017 Emirates Stakes is strong. He finished 5th in the Cox Plate but that was against the mighty mare Winx. Previous to that race he held off Johannes Vermeer (2nd Melbourne Cup) for a victory at the Caulfield Stakes. The best reason for backing Gailo Chop is his record at this trip. In 10 starts, he’s recorded 6 wins over his career. So over 2000m again, Gailo Chop can win this race.

Best PLACE Bet: Cliff’s Edge (Race 8, No. 15)

PLACE: $2.25 at William Hill
Cliff’s Edge has been super impressive this prep with 3 wins from 6 starts, along with 2 seconds. Last start, he finished behind Aloisia for second and beat Tangled at Caulfield. In his last race at Flemington, he was a close second again to Main Stage. He’s shown form at this distance with a win and a second from 2 starts. So we would back him to place as the best bet.
